There is no useful single market rate because the work ranges from a short diagnostic to months of fractional leadership. I prefer to price around the scope, seniority and commercial value of the problem rather than by filling hours. The more important question is whether the engagement creates enough clarity, revenue, cost avoidance or capability to justify the investment.
